She moved to Brisbane to study ceramics and hasn't looked back, except for that brief stint at the funeral home.  After ten years in Brisbane she moved to America and eventually designed her Bold Birds line. Her pieces are a individually created in her Vincent studio and are for everyday use as well as looking lovely in your home.

Get in quick

The Renegade Handmade Market was born from the desire to create a community artisans market that provides Townsville's contemporary art, craft and design practitioners with an arena to showcase their work. The aim was to create a vibrant atmosphere where artists could interact with their contemporaries and the wider public and sell their work without large overheads.

Renegade Handmade was developed by a maker, for makers. We intend to promote the market widely using the majority of the stall fees to pay for promotion.

The Renegade Handmade Market operates on the Second Saturday of every month at the ‘Aitkenvale State School’, Townsville, QLD. Rain, hail or shine. We are also developing a Twilight Market which will be held on Flinders Street on the third Friday beginning in May.

We invite you to submit an application for Renegade Handmade! This is a juried market and all vendors are reviewed for acceptance. It is our goal to have a wide variety of products by independent makers and designers.

Please send your details to renegadehandmade@hotmail.com. Please include up to five photos of your work and whatever web links you have. Places are $35 each market. We have indoor and outside spaces if you have your own gazebo. You will need to have your own public liability insurance. Once accepted you will be emailed further information regarding payment in advance by direct deposit, and other options on how to receive a free spot at the upcoming Celebrate Townsville Artist Market.

Your work will also feature on the blog, Facebook page and possibly on other advertising material. There are many exciting things planned for Renegade Handmade. Please join us.
